How easy is it to book with Mobbo Taxi?
It’s fairly easy to book a service with us. You can call us or use our online form.
How early do I need to book?
We suggest you call us at least 24 hours in advance. Most of our customers book their journeys 7 to 14 days in advance. We do take last minute bookings but most of the time we are fully occupied.
How can I pay for the service?
You can pay cash, over the phone and make bank transfer. We accept all major credit cards.
Can I cancel my booking?
You can cancel your booking at any time. However a cancellation fee may be apply where a pre-ordered booking is cancelled less than 24 hours before the time for collection or where an “as soon as possible” service is cancelled no more than 5 minutes after the booking has been made.
What areas do we cover?
We do cover all London postcodes. Please call our team for more information.
Which airports do we cover?
We specialize in transfers from all major airports including Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted and London City airport.
Which train stations do we cover?
We specialize in transfers from all major stations including Paddington, Victoria, Clapham Junction, Marylebone, St Pancras, Kings Cross, and Liverpool Street station.
What type of vehicles do we operate with?
Saloon, Estate, MPV, 8 seater
Are Mobbo Taxi a licensed company?
We are fully licensed minicab company by the PCO (Public Carriage Office). All drivers must apply for a PCO license through the TFL. They must also complete a medical, CRB check and a topographical test.
Do we operate a fixed price policy?
Rather than a meter, we offer a fixed postcode to postcode pricing. This is based on a booking fee and a distance based unit rate taken from our database.
Do I need to pay in advance?
You do not need to pay in advance. You can choose the most convenient for you way to pay, too.
Do you charge extra on Bank Holidays, Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve?
We reserve the right to charge extra for such.However, we’ll warn you first.
Will you meet us at any time of the day or night?
We operate a 24/7 service. We will pick you up any time at no extra charge for you.
What if my flight arrives early or is delayed?
We request a flight number at the time of booking as we track your flight to see when it lands. We give you 45 minutes of free waiting time for all international flights and 30 minutes for domestic flights. Any time after this will be charged accordingly. However, to avoid any additional waiting time, you can always add a “delay” to your booking.
What happens if my flight is cancelled?
If your flight is cancelled for any reason and you are travelling at a later date or time, you can always let us know and we can keep your booking on hold. There is no charge for this. If your flight is cancelled and you are not travelling anymore and want to cancel your booking in this case we will charge you £10.00 for a single journey booking and £20.00 for a return journey booking.
What happens if I miss my flight?
You must call us at following numbers quoting your booking ID number, Journey reference or your name. Our standard cancellation & refund policy apply in such cases.
What happens if my flight is diverted to another airport?
If your flight is diverted we will automatically cancel the booking. Please contact us to let us know if you want us to make another booking.
Where do I meet my driver when I land at the airport?
You will meet the driver either by the airport information desk or in the arrivals hall depending on the airport.
What if I cannot locate my driver?
You should have received full details of the vehicle and contact number for our driver when you booked. Simply give them a call direct or call us and we will find them for you.
How do I know if my reservation is confirmed?
You will receive a confirmation email / text message with the details of your booking.
Can I get a receipt?
You can ask your driver for a receipt. Alternatively we can send a receipt / invoice to your email.
